Feeling like an exile at the celebration of life is an unpleasant feeling. You can, of course, pretend that food interests you only from an aesthetic point of view. But it is much more pleasant to try culinary delights. We would not advise putting a stack of special pills next to the plate. Let medications wait in the wings without ostentatious drama. We’re going to talk about food itself.

What can not

Alas, but the classics of the genre – salad “Olivier” – this time there is no place on the table, because salads with mayonnaise and proper nutrition are, as they say in Odessa, two big differences. And let Evgeniy Grishkovets relishly describe how good it is to absorb them the next morning with spoons, right from the pan. We won’t do that. Although, of course, I want to. Mayonnaise has to be dealt with mercilessly – whether it is homemade or super-light olive, it should not be used. According to doctors, this product does not have the most favorable effect on the pancreas, so we will season salads with unrefined olive oil.

Fatty foods are also banned, especially as a snack. We’ll have to give up pork, as well as fatty fish such as salmon and salmon. But pike perch and cod are great. In addition to them, turkey meat is recommended – it is soft and easily digestible, moreover, it is rich in proteins and contains almost no cholesterol. Therefore, if a dish with turkey meat is not fatty and not fried (but rather stewed and in combination with delicate sauces), then we give it the green light!

 

I must say that you also need to be very careful when combining products with each other. It is not for nothing that mixing of dairy and meat products is excluded in classical Jewish cuisine.

  • When the salad meets and sour cream, and meat, this inevitably leads to bowel problems.
  • For the same reason give up cabbage, any, including broccoli. Cabbage is dangerous both raw and sauerkraut – especially as a traditional snack with vodka.
  • In no case do not put nuts in salads, they have a high percentage of fat, which adversely affects the gastrointestinal tract.
  • Do not use in dishes original and unusual combinations for us, for example, grapes and eggs.
  • Beans, lobio, satsivi are blacklisted.
  • The same applies to hot spices – they often provoke heartburn.
  • As for the use of eggplants, if you bake them in the oven, without fat, please. But in no case add walnut paste to the eggplant. But zucchini, like cucumbers, is best avoided.

Well, you say. It turns out that the most delicious is impossible. Do not despair, all is not lost.

  • Doctors suggest including jellied fish in the menu, which, when properly prepared, is not at all disgusting. And also, for example, you can make meatballs from fish or squid, steam is better.
  • But the main delicacy is shrimps, which are very useful both boiled and even fried. The main thing is not to buy shrimp with a lot of ice and snow: this is a sign of repeated defrosting. A simple recipe: sauté a couple of chopped garlic cloves in olive oil, fry the shrimp, sprinkle with lemon. Then any herbs are used: marjoram, basil, oregano. By the way, you can’t eat a lot of fried shrimp, which is also important. Shrimp can be washed down with a couple of glasses of dry red wine or a couple of glasses of good brandy. But not more.
  • Another delicacy is cheese. Hard varieties should be preferred, but Roquefort, Brie and Camumber will have to say goodbye. However, almost all of our country has already said goodbye to these cheeses. So you have not lost anything.
  • Allow yourself some cheese in the salad. However, for those who have a situation complicated by cholelithiasis or pancreatitis, any cheese is completely contraindicated.
