Diet for pregnant women – diet for toxicosis

This diet is based on the kefir-apple diet, with the only difference that in view of the changing hormonal background in pregnant women, the amount of food per meal is reduced. Diet with toxicosis not only reduces the attacks of nausea, but generally helps to improve health.

Several other diets (advantages of a medical diet) have the same results – this diet can be used in combination with other medical diets even for serious illnesses.

Diet menu for toxicosis

After 1-2 hours (but no later than 2 hours before bedtime), you need to eat half of the apples and drink half a glass (or less) of low-fat kefir (1%) (no sugar). Be sure to choose green apples. Kefir can partly be replaced with green tea or non-mineralized and non-carbonated water (again, no sugar).

Pregnancy is not a disease. You do not need any dietary restrictions (except for the last trimester). In principle, you can eat anything. But nausea may not allow you to. This diet is designed to minimize nausea, and apples (in total, about two kilograms per day) will provide both your body and your child’s body with the necessary vitamins, minerals, and plant fiber normalizes intestinal function.

To apply the diet, you must consult your doctor. This diet is not completely balanced in minerals and vitamins (no carbohydrates – which will further stabilize your weight). You may need to take vitamin or mineral complexes (but they themselves can cause nausea attacks). The diet is not suitable for everyone – each person has an individual body. If it suits you, determine the duration of the diet with your doctor.
