CONXEMAR, Is the Spanish Association of Wholesalers, Importers, Transformers and Exporters of Fisheries and Aquaculture Products, and for 15 years it has celebrated in these first days of October the International Fair of Frozen Seafood Products
The annual Show is known by the same name as the association, and this value of “brand”Has established itself as a benchmark in the national frozen food sector.
This year between the days 7 and 9 October we will have at our disposal in the city of Vigo to hundreds of transformation, distribution, international trade companies, etc …
The Galician city becomes for a few days the fishing port of reference nationally and internationally, offering visitors more than 30.000 square meters of exhibition.
The main objective of the Association that sponsors the event is to help and promote the competitiveness of the associated companies and to be able to represent and defend them before the state or community public bodies, due to the strong regulatory control that the fishing sector currently holds.
The organization of the event aims to promote the consumption of frozen product from fishing, the main activity of the national coastline and also very significant in the northwest of the peninsula, throughout the 3 days of duration.
Currently there are more than 200 associates who represent Conxemar adding a turnover to the Spanish GDP of 6.437 million euros and employing more than 13.200 employees.
