Color pregnancy: signs, symptoms

Color pregnancy: signs, symptoms

Usually, a woman finds out about her pregnancy quite early: according to certain signs, the expectant mother realizes that a new life has arisen inside her. But there are times when these signs are absent, and the pregnancy proceeds imperceptibly until quite long periods. This phenomenon is called “color pregnancy”.

What is a “color pregnancy”?

The main sign of pregnancy is considered to be the cessation of menstruation. However, in about 20 cases out of 100, this does not happen – the menstrual cycle either does not change at all, or does not change significantly, despite the fact that the embryo is already developing in the uterus. This condition is called “color pregnancy” or “ablution of the fetus.”

Colored pregnancy, unlike usual, does not manifest itself in any way in the early stages.

There can be many reasons for “washing the fetus”: this is unstable ovulation, and a lack of progesterone in a woman’s body, and infections of the reproductive system.

In most cases, this condition does not pose any threat to the fetus; pregnancy proceeds in the same way as normal. However, similar symptoms – profuse bleeding, pain – also have dangerous pathologies: ectopic pregnancy and uterine bleeding. Therefore, with any suspicion, it is necessary to consult a gynecologist for advice.

Signs of an Unusual Pregnancy

And yet there are signs of “color pregnancy” that will help an attentive woman to recognize her position:

  • The menstrual cycle may change, the intervals between periods may increase, and the discharge may become leaner and shorter. In this case, the painful sensations either decrease or become much stronger.

  • Unreasonable weight gain not related to diet or lifestyle changes.

  • Increased fatigue, drowsiness, irritability, dizziness.

  • Changes in eating habits or loss of appetite, nausea in the morning.

That is, with the exception of the menstrual cycle, the “color pregnancy” symptoms are the same as the usual.

Do not rely on home tests to determine pregnancy: their accuracy can vary depending on the quality and condition of the woman’s body.

A defective test strip, hormonal imbalance can cause a false negative result

The only sure way to determine pregnancy is to visit a doctor, he will conduct an ultrasound scan, which will reveal the presence of an embryo in the uterus. It is also worth doing a test for the hCG hormone. These studies will confirm pregnancy.
