The unpretentious carrot grows all over the world and in any season. In whatever form carrots are used, its beneficial properties cannot be overestimated. It helps to maintain the acid-base balance in the body, cleanses the blood, has a diuretic, carminative and antipyretic effect.

We offer some of the most delicious and unexpected recipes, the main ingredient of which is a simple and affordable carrot!

carrot stew

12 bell peppers 12 onions, chopped 250 g tomatoes, chopped 12 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp vegetable oil 1 tsp salt

Saute carrot, bell pepper and onion pieces until soft. In a separate deep skillet, combine tomatoes, brown sugar, butter and salt, bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute. Pour over vegetable mixture. Serve warm or cold at your discretion.

Carrot bread

34 art. chopped carrots 1,5 tbsp. whole grain flour 1 tsp ground cinnamon 34 tsp salt 12 tsp soda 12 tsp baking powder 14 tsp ground ginger 14 tsp ground cloves 23 sugar 14 tbsp. canola oil 14 tbsp. vanilla yogurt 2 egg substitute

Preheat oven to 180C. Boil carrots for 15 minutes until soft, drain. Place in food processor, blend until smooth. Mix flour, cinnamon, salt, soda, baking powder, ginger and cloves in a large bowl. In a small bowl, combine carrots, sugar, butter, yogurt and egg substitutes, mix well. Mix the contents of the bowls with each other. Spread the mixture over the baking dish. Bake at 180C for 50 minutes.

Carrot ice cream

2 cups freshly squeezed carrot juice 34 cups sugar 1 tbsp. lemon juice 12 tsp vanilla extract 18 tsp salt 250 g cream cheese 250 g yoghurt 

Mix all ingredients in a food processor or blender. Beat until smooth. Put in the refrigerator for 2 hours.


Carrots soaked in syrup

23 art. liquid honey 2 tsp salt 900 g sliced ​​carrots (as pictured) 2 tbsp. cumin seeds 2 tbsp. olive oil 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Bring 12 cups of water in a skillet to a boil. Add honey, salt, mix. Add carrots. Simmer for a few minutes, stirring frequently until the liquid has evaporated and the carrots are tender. Remove from fire. Add cumin, olive oil and lemon juice, stir. Let the carrots brew and soak.
