Most parents perceive the sexuality of their own and other people’s children differently: their own are always naive, innocent. They are sure that their children not only have no sexual experience, but are not even interested in the intimate side of life*. But the friends of their children, on the contrary, are defiantly sexy. “Illusions help to shift responsibility for the sexual behavior of their teenagers onto others,” comments sexologist and sociologist Igor Kon. – Adults do not know children well and underestimate the level of their independence.
