However, things are not so simple. Some fruits and berries can get you as good as rolls and cookies. After all, one single fruit can replace a full-fledged dinner in terms of the number of calories! They also contain fructose, which belongs to the class of simple carbohydrates. The body copes with these once or twice and again requires “supplements” to get rid of the feeling of hunger. Well, if at the same time you neglect sports, then excess carbohydrates will be deposited in a fat roll on the sides and waist – “in reserve”.

Banana

One of the most popular ingredients in all kinds of smoothies and fruit cocktails, which are so loved by adherents of healthy lifestyle. After all, bananas are rich in zinc, sodium, vitamins A, B, C, vegetable fiber, trace elements. And vitamins B6, magnesium and potassium help fight bad mood. But, unfortunately, these fruits are very, very high in calories. One medium-sized banana contains up to 250 calories. Eating 2-3 bananas a day as a snack can get you 40% of your daily calorie intake. So, if you do not plan to take part in a bodybuilding competition in the near future, it is better to reduce the consumption of this fruit to 2-3 pieces per week, not forgetting about physical activity.

Apple

It would seem that apples are the mast have of anyone losing weight. But they can also lead to weight gain – despite the fact that there are not so many calories in apples. But therein lies the catch. Many during a diet are ready to absorb apples every day, almost in kilograms. Green varieties are especially popular. They have even fewer calories than red ones. And in order to chew such a fruit with sourness, you will spend more energy than you will get from the product.

Watermelon

Yes, the world’s largest berry is 90% water, and 100 g of pulp contains only 37 calories. But if you eat the whole watermelon at a time (and this is up to 6-8 kg of pulp), you can get the daily calorie intake. But you won’t be full of watermelon alone, and this automatically leads to exceeding the permissible indicators.

There is a lot of sugar in watermelon. This is a food with a high glycemic index of 76, which means that carbohydrates quickly raise blood sugar levels, and hunger comes pretty quickly as well. Nutritionists recommend keeping at least two hours between meals and watermelon. Some people even prefer to eat watermelon pulp with bread or a bun, completely unaware that this is how bodybuilders build muscle mass.

Mango

Many nutritionists advise switching to a mango-milk diet for 3 days to lose weight: drink a glass of skimmed milk with mango fruit for breakfast, lunch and dinner. However, this sweet exotic fruit is also able to shift the arrow of the scales in the opposite direction. After all, a mango, like a banana, boasts not only a set of nutrients, but also a large number of calories – at the level of grapes. It also contains many proteolytic enzymes that help digest proteins. And this contributes to the strengthening and growth of muscle mass.

Cherry

You also need to be careful with this berry. 100 g of delicious cherries contain 52 calories. At first glance, nothing at all. But who limits themselves to 100 g of such yummy? But a kilogram of cherries is already 520 calories.
